About us

A small team with one careful job

We help Chinese and Asian investors have a clear, honest first conversation about UK property — then make a proper introduction if it suits them.

Our story

Why we started Harbour Gate Partners

We kept meeting people from China, Hong Kong and Singapore who were curious about UK property but put off by jargon, hard selling and the difficulty of asking honest questions in a second language.

So we built a simple service: explain the basics first, in English or 普通话; ask a few honest questions; and only then introduce genuine enquiries to an established UK property sales team.

We are deliberately small. We would rather have fewer, better conversations than chase volume.

Small on purpose. Careful by design.

Fewer, better conversations — and honest answers, even when the answer is “ask a solicitor”.

How we work

Four principles we don’t bend

Educate first

You should understand the basics before anyone talks about a specific property.

Qualify honestly

If we don’t think an introduction suits you, we’ll tell you — and stop there.

Never invent returns

We don’t quote yields or growth figures. Property values can fall as well as rise.

Never pretend to be advisers

We are not financial advisers and are not FCA-authorised. Introductions only.

Transparency

How we are paid

We may earn a commission from our sales partner if a purchase you were introduced to goes ahead. You do not pay us a fee for the introduction call. Wording to confirm — Sean

We tell you this up front so you can weigh everything we say with that in mind. Any purchase contract is between you and the developer or provider — never with us — and we never hold your money.
